Maiwand Kabob is hands down one of my favorite spots to eat! The lamb chop dinner is out of this worldthe meat is so tender and juicy it literally melts in your mouth. You can tell its cooked to perfection every single time. The pumpkin is another must-try! Its sweet, savory, and perfectly seasonedsuch a comforting and flavorful dish.
The portions are generous, and everything tastes so fresh. The rice and naan that come with the meal are always hot and delicious, and they pair perfectly with everything on the plate.
What really makes this place special, though, is the staff. They are friendly, welcoming, and provide excellent service every time I visit. You can tell they really care about their customers.
If youre looking for authentic Afghan food that hits the spot every time, Maiwand Kabob is it. Highly recommended!

I had such a lovely experience at this Afghan restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. The service was not only friendly, but also proactive, they checked in at just the right times without hovering, and you could tell they really cared about making sure everything was perfect. The atmosphere was clean, calm, and relaxing, which made it even easier to enjoy the meal.
Now the food absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. The portion sizes were generous, and the sides were just as good as the main dishes. I especially loved the naan bread, it was warm, super soft, and so satisfying. You can tell they put love into their cooking. I left feeling full, happy, and already planning my next visit. Highly recommend!

I order from here all the time and the food is pretty good. I ordered my usual salmon platter and vegetables samosas. The green dipping sauce had pieces of hair in it. So I went to return it and asked for a refund and a replacement. The lady at the counter (Spanish speaking, heavy set) was very dismissive, rude saying well its just hair, things happen. None of the cooks or anyone working around the food have hair nets, un clean hands as I watched them open up back door where trash is put out and then grab pot of rice to serve out. I will not eat from there again.
