THIS IS NOT CHIPOTLE..
if you are looking to taste flavors of different Latin América Countries, this is the place.
1-Arepas 100%Recommended.
2-Make your own bowl: Be aware that this is not CHIPOTLE, so do not expect the same flavors or quantities. But it tastes delicious.
3-Empanadas and Yucas 80% recommended.
Do not forget that this food is not industrial, so it looks like it is made at home.
Highly recommend! The food here is 10x better than Chipotle and they have so many fun sauces too. I especially like their guac and pineapple salsa. Only complaint is sometimes their tortilla chips are stale, so you always have to check first before leaving. Another thing I wish theyd change is the pictures on the order screen includes many items they dont actually sell.
The overall taste of the arepas are good. But the buns are pretty greasy. I liked the brisket arepa.
But disappointed by the missing chips. The chips and guacamole is 9 dollars. And they didnt give us chips . How we suppose to do with the guacamole? We were out having a picnic.
I called this restaurant few times , seems nobody ever gonna pick up
I’ve given Maizal a shot multiple times over the past two years, and more often than not, it’s a letdown.
There is almost always some sort of problem with my order, whether it’s obscenely small quantities, excessively fatty meat, or being overcharged for extra queso (even after pointing out that their menu clearly states that the queso topping on a bowl is $1.50, not $3.00).
I can not, in good conscious, recommend Maizal to anyone. My advice is to avoid it and pick one of the other options in the food court.
A solid choice for some good tasty hot food! There’s tons of choices, I was drawn in though by the array of arepa coffee, and I was not disappointed. I got the “La Inka” and “Buenos Aires,” and let me tell you, both were delicious, and the aioli on the “La Inka” stuck with me all day in a good way
Portion sizes have dramatically shrunk and they fill bowls halfway. I complained and they said my bowl was properly filled (see photo). Maizal used to be my go to place, but this new policy to skimp on portions means I won’t be going back. It’s a shame.

Place has gone downhill serving sizes get smaller. Been probably 20 times over two years. Might not go back again.

The man serving us was incredibly rude.

Bowls are 1/4 size of what they once were with Cava right across the street, it aint worth it anymore 🙁
