I got the chicken and lamb over rice and it was absolutely phenomenal. This is the best cooked lamb I have ever had, and I am an extremely picky eater when it comes to flavor and quality. Both meats were tender and the dish holds a massive amount of flavor and pairs beautifully with the diced vegetables and lettuce. This is a hidden gem for sure.

NY Gyro & Grill has very professional staff members that care about the wait times to be attended to and served food. Keep up the good work -Additionally The Menu in May 2025 is in this reviews pictures for customers to see whats on the menu but the prices might vary every 3 months (stated by the owner).

Really good food. The chicken tikka (especially with the tzatziki) was delicious. The people working there were very friendly. The portion sizes were very large: two people could share a plate if they werent super hungry. The dining area was clean, but the restroom couldve been in better shape.

Took my two toddlers there on a Sunday afternoon for dinner. You can tell that it is a local favorite, as there was an abundance of customers coming in/calling constantly throughout our ~45 minute stay.

The food was tasty – the lamb and chicken were very well-seasoned; rice was flavorful; tzatziki sauce was on-par; salad ingredients were fresh.

I found their location inviting, right across from a private school, next to an ice-cream shop! We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. The quiet parking lot behind the establishment was a plus, too!

Last night I went to NY Gyro & Grill because my son had dinner there earlier in the evening. He was telling me how great the food was. He had take-out. My wife and I decided to give it a try. First the main part of the business is most likely take-out but they have a hand full of tables. We decided to sit and eat. After taking a few minutes, I chose the lamb and chicken over rice and my wife had lamb and chicken gyro. You can get any vegetable toppings you want (I think at no extra cost). I normally don’t like tzatziki sauce but the owner said “you’ll be making a mistake” so I got it on the side and he was 100% correct! That sauce ROCKED!
Since we both are both good home cooks we have high standards when we’re eating out. The food was a 10 out of 10!! It was just great food! As we ate, I got to talking to the two owners about all of the food. They explained they make everything for scratch including all the sauces except the BBQ sauce. These are just two easy going guys who are proud of what they are doing. Next time we’re are going to try the shish kebab that they recommended. I would say this, it’s not a fine dinning restaurant but both our meals together cost under $20. I don’t need a fancy table I just want great food and NY Gyro & Grill delivered in a big way.
