It was a good classic lamb gyro, plenty big enough. Wife enjoyed her chicken gyro. Casual order at counter. Music was too loud IMO.

Food is average. Not so friendly staff. There are better meditarian places around the area

I am Soo surprised that this place has so many reviews. It was Soo grimmy in there. Everything had a layer of dirt and oil. Surprised the health department hasn’t come by. When you throw your trash away you can get a glimpse of the kitchen and it makes you question your choice for eating it. So dirty, the bathrooms we Soo filthy as well. The workers were nice and got our food order right away.

I recently tried Peno Mediterranean Grill in Charlotte, NC, and it might just become my new go-to spot for fast fresh Mediterranean food. The house salad with gyro meat was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the shawarma was equally delicious. The staff were friendly and took the time to answer all of our questions, making the visit feel welcoming and attentive.

This place gets a lot of praise for its quick service, quality ingredients, and warm atmosphere, and now I understand why. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, hot, fresh, and genuinely satisfying from start to finish.

Highly recommend this spot for a tasty Mediterranean fast-casual meal in a clean, inviting setting. Ill definitely be coming back whenever Im craving a quick Mediterranean treat!

Ill start by saying that the service was great. But for some reason when I got home to eat my chicken platter, it had an off putting smell. It was likely the tzatziki, but I couldnt eat any of it.
