The food was horrible. Its unfortunate that Rockford does not have many halal options. I highly do not recommend anyone to visit this place. The beef kabob was completely raw. Forget about cutting it with knife, you couldnt even tear it with your teeth. And chewing it was same as chewing a rubber or a bubble gum.

I own a restaurant, and this is my favorite place in town to eat. That’s saying something. The family members that run Sahara work hard and make delicious food. I get the lentil soup when I’m sick and the falafel when I need comfort food. 10/10.

Best halal arabic cuisine in the town. We tried mixed shawarma, hummus, and so on. Tastes yummy the owner is unbelievably kind and pure gentleman. Cant recommend enough for so many good reasons.
