#1. There is NOT TRUCK PARKING!! Bobtail OK. No room for trailers. But that is true if everyplace in the world so please DO NOT say “truck parking”
#2. Hygiene standards are 3rd world. Food/cash handling is an issue. People eating/ drinking while they work. No hair nets, no gloves & mask around neck…
& maybe check out the bathroom to understand what is acceptable here before you order. 4 times here & this the 1st time i use their men’s room… The other stuff didn’t bother me but now…. i will think twice before i come back.
#3. They can be very inconsistent. Order same dish one day takes 5 minutes & costs $13. Another day takes almost 40 minutes & costs $18+. Quality & flavor also changes i guess depending on who is cooking (?)
#4. Some are more equal than others. Hospitality standards are not western. You should treat every customer like good friends but if you sit & watch (maybe while waiting over half an hour for your meal) you will see that some customers take priority while others are barely noticed.
#5. It’s old school so they expect that you will expect the occasional bone piece or cartilage or veggie stem in the food. Use caution
#6. and in the other hand, their rice is amazing & their curries are top shelf. I like their lamb a lot too. Tender & juicy (opposite of the chicken i tried BTW). I wish i could tell you the name of the savory red puree sauce I’m enjoying… all i know is it is yummy.
Bottom line when deciding to eat here = Do you feel lucky?
