So below is my prior review but here’s a fresh new one. What used to be called Shibam has reopened under a new name, Zahra’s. Not a ton has changed but I think the food got even more delicious! There is a new chef! It also feels a bit cleaner in there now and the service is amazing as well. I return for my favorites but everything they have is super tasty. I dare you to try it all and find your everyday favorites.
This is a wonderful restaurant for delicious food! Its coming back to its full glory after Covid emptied it out for a long time. I expect it to start being more and more busy once people come by and taste the food. 🙂
We found this place on Google, which said they open at 11:00 AM. We drove from far away and arrived at 11:15, but the door was still locked. We could see people inside the kitchen, and even though they saw us standing outside, they ignored us. Very unprofessional and disappointing experience.
Zahra’s Yemeni Kitchen is a hidden gem! The food is absolutely delicious and showcases the authenticity of Arab culture in every dish. From fragrant spices to homemade bread, each bite is a delightful journey through Yemeni flavors. The warm, inviting atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to share a meal with friends or family. I highly recommend trying their signature dishesyou wont be disappointed!

Amazing food. First time trying Yemeni food, and was impressed with familiar yet unique flavors. The meat was tender, and the rice was delicious.
