Al-Sabeel Masjid Noor Al-Islam was established on 2002 as a California Religious Corporation registered and located in the United States of California – San Francisco. It is organized under the Non Profit Religious Corporation Law primarily for religious purposes. The specific purposes for which this corporation is organized are to provide a platform in the Bay Area where Muslims can gather and express themselves and to interface the Muslim Community with the society of the Bay Area.
Our establishment serves as Masjid (Mosque), school, and community center for the Muslim community of San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. We are inspired by the teachings of the Qur’an to create a faith-based community dedicated to peace, justice and compassion. We provide religious and social services to a large and diverse Muslim constituency. Located in San Francisco, we are able to work with other Muslim communities dedicated to peace and justice in the San Francisco Bay Area. We provide a wide array of religious and social services to Bay Area residents including:
Religious services to the community;
Educational programs for men, women and children;
Educational activities and enrichment programs for young people;
Acting as a liaison between Muslims and Non-Muslims.
As a Non-profit Under Section 501 (a) of the Internal Revenue Code, Al-Sabeel is exempt from federal income tax as an organization described under section 501 (c) (3). With TAX-ID: 33-1000755.
