The Islamic Community Center of Anchorage Alaska is a diverse community that includes African Americans, Caucasians, Albanians, South Asians, Africans, Middle Eastern, Indonesians, Malaysians, Alaska Natives and others. The estimated number of Muslims in Anchorage is 2,000 to 3,000 people.
The Islamic Community Center of Anchorage Alaska (ICCAA) is a non profit organization with 501(c)(3) status. Our Goals
Establish the first Masjid and School with an Islamic Community Center that will be a beacon highlighting the values of Islam.
Have a Monday to Friday School teaching both Islamic and regular curriculum
Islamic daycare center and playground
Conference rooms to host:
Islamic lectures,Halaqas for youth,Women and Men.
Interfaith events.
Community outreach programs.
Social events and functions.
Islamic library.
Kitchen to facilitate iftares.Community wide potlucks, and other events

I have been Muslim all my life. Ive also been a heart patient all my life and I have never been disrespected by Muslims like I have by brother Lamine here in Anchorage, Alaska on the administration at this Mosque to tell a brother thats disabled that hes young enough to give the Mosque money and cut a check to the Mosque but not old enough to ask for help that thats definitely judging a book by its cover, which is frowned upon and forbid in it in Islam charity is for the needy or the sick and Im among those people so I feel so disrespected I will never step foot in this Mosque ever again I would not care if Im starving and have no food. I will never turn my body to the Mosque ever again that my brother needs to be let go from the administration

Very nice, large masjid for a decent sized community. Hopefully, it continues to grow. Met the Imam who is a very nice and welcoming brother. Cleanest bathrooms I’ve been in at a masjid! Well worth the visit

Beautiful mosque – extremely clean and spacious. We lucked out because there was a brother working there who let us in but otherwise there is a code to enter through the door so if youre visiting Anchorage and want to pray, avoid going at a random time. JazakAllah to the local Muslim community for maintaining this mosque!
