About
Masjid Muhajireen, a non-profit organization established in 1992, has been unwavering in its commitment to serving the Bay Area community for over three decades.
Our mission is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for Islamic education, fostering a deep understanding of Islam, offering spiritual guidance, and engaging in acts of public service. We firmly believe in the Islamic principles of coexistence and peace with individuals from diverse backgrounds. As the Prophet wisely stated, "The believer is one from whom others are protected from harm, whether through his words or actions." We aim to embody these noble teachings and serve as a beacon of unity and goodwill for all.

The Masjid, or mosque, holds a special place in the hearts of its attendees, not merely as a place of worship, but as a sanctuary of community and spiritual solace. Within its walls, the atmosphere is imbued with a sense of tranquility and harmony, fostered by the warmth and kindness of its people. The congregants, diverse in their backgrounds and experiences, come together in unity, bound by their shared devotion to their faith. However, one of the most enchanting aspects of this Masjid is undoubtedly the Qari, whose mesmerizing recitations of the Quran transport the listeners to a realm of spiritual elevation. His voice, resonant and melodious, carries the timeless verses with a captivating grace, evoking a profound sense of awe and reverence. Whether during the serene Friday prayers or the fervent Tarawih nights of Ramadan, the experience of listening to his recitations is nothing short of enchanting. Each word, each intonation, is infused with a divine beauty that touches the hearts of all who hear it. Indeed, the Masjid is a haven where the soul finds solace, where the spirit is uplifted, and where the beauty of faith is celebrated with joy and gratitude. In every corner, the echoes of devotion and the fragrance of spirituality permeate the air, creating an atmosphere that is truly serene and blessed. Indeed, it is a testament to the beauty and power of faith, and a reminder of the boundless mercy and grace of the Divine.
