The mission of the McLean Islamic Center (MIC) is to provide religious, social, and educational services to the Muslim community as well as to promote and reinforce a positive image of Islam in the United States. MIC’s goal is to foster a nourishing environment that brings hearts of the people together under the Islamic philosophy of peaceful coexistence with all of its neighbors.
The vision of MIC is to create an environment of understanding, peace, diversity and intellectual growth by providing an inclusive platform for all Muslims whose viewpoints are in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah. This includes daily prayers, inter-faith dialogues, education programs for our youth, non-profit events, and much more. MIC will serve as a model institution for religious organizations in the United States looking to serve Members of their own faiths as well as their local communities.

This is the most welcoming and heartfelt masjid Ive ever been to. I used to come here even before becoming Muslim, and the sisters, especially Mrs. Saba, were so kind to me from the very beginning. I never felt out of place.
Its been two years since I started my journey to Islam, and McLean Islamic Center truly feels like home to my heart. The community is sincere and kind, and every person Ive met here is a beautiful example of what it means to be a good Muslim.
The imams also have the most beautiful recitation, clear, moving, and so easy to connect with even when I was still learning.
May Allah (swt) bless everyone who helps make this masjid what it is, and reward all their efforts.

I hope this message finds you in the best of health and Iman.
I recently attended the masjid for the first time and I am writing to share a concern that I found quite distressing. I noticed that the men and womens areas are very exposed, allowing the men to see the women and the women to see the men. This lack of proper segregation made me feel extremely uncomfortable.Please if you can, change that.
