“Beautiful and peaceful mosque with excellent facilities, welcoming community, and well-maintained cleanliness.”
There is Parking issue on Friday sometimes.
I recently vended at MCNJ for Ramadan, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing compared to other mosques Ive worked with. At other mosques, the management has always been kind, clear, and accommodating when it comes to renting tables. They typically inform us in advance about the space well have, what we can bring, and any other guidelines. However, at MCNJ, the management was disrespectful and unprofessional throughout the process.
First, we were not informed beforehand about restrictions on extra items, yet during the event, staff repeatedly approached us, accusing us of having items we werent supposed to have. Additionally, a member of the management who was a male disrupting us women vendors at the mosque asked us rude questions and demanded an extra $25 without any prior notice or explanation. The space we were given was very tight, and the overall environment was uncomfortable the basement was extremely cold, and the broken lightbulbs made it feel neglected.
It was also disappointing to hear that all donations from vending were supposed to go toward the mosque, yet basic maintenance issues like fixing the lightbulbs were overlooked.
Overall, the lack of communication, disrespectful behavior, and poor conditions made this a very negative experience. I would not recommend vending at this mosque to others.
I choose to vendor here thinking everything would go well, but the staff treated me with disrespect throughout the time I was there. Ruining my experience.
