About
The Muslim Mosque Association (MMA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the Muslim community in Sacramento, California.
Our mission is to provide a welcoming space for worship, education, and community building, while preserving and promoting Islamic values and heritage. The mosque on V Street between Fourth and Fifth Streets was the only mosque in the region, attracting worshippers from throughout the Sacramento Valley, and is the oldest mosque in the western United States.
Over the years, MMA has grown to become a vibrant center for the Muslim community in Sacramento.
We have a diverse congregation, with members from various ethnicities and backgrounds, all united by their shared faith and values.

Jummah arabic khutba starts 1:45pm. They usually finish praying around 2:05pm.
TJ influenced. Nice masjid complex, beautifully decorated on the inside. Street parking is available and probably easiest although there is also a small parking lot located behind the masjid near the apartment building.

Assalamualaikum. The oldest masjid West of the Mississippi est 1948,My favorite masjid in Sacramento. Always open if you every want to stop by and read the Qu’ran. All five prayers will be held in congregation 24/7.Definitely feels like a masjid over seas giving it a very authentic vibe.Very cleany wash room with tons of space. The imam is very knowledgeable as well and gives excellent khuthbas on jummah. Alhamdulillah for this masjid and may he continue to bless it Inshallah.

First of all, it says that maghrib is after sunset. Except not everyone agrees when sunset is. Why not just say what time the prayer is at?
Second of all, there are no directions telling you where the prayer halls are at. The facility has numerous buildings, with no way of knowing which one is which. You have no idea if youre walking into the mens section, or the womens section, or even someones apartment.
