Norristown Islamic Society (NIS), we are committed to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community of Muslims residing in Montgomery County, PA. Our core mission at NIS is to serve the needs of our surrounding communities, particularly those facing hardship in Norristown Township. Through initiatives such as grocery distribution, providing essential food items, offering assistance to refugees, and supporting local family-owned businesses through our annual bazaar, we strive to make a positive impact and uplift those in need.
NIS has been recognized as a registered 501(c)(3) Not for Profit organization and may qualify for Corporate matching gift program.

This mosque is perfect size and very friendly though as in most masaajid in the Philly area needs to teach more than just Hanbali perspective because he is only one and the youngest student of Jaafar al-Saadiq and he is a mujtahid but not an Imam like al-Saadiq who also taught Abu Hanifa and Malik and Shafi who are mujtahid more authentic than Hanbal whose followers are funded by Saudi regime this is why popular in USA.
