The Philadelphia Masjid is not only a place for worship it is also an "Education Center" for the surrounding communities. Our school is dedicated to the education of religious and secular perspectives. We follow the Guidance of the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAWAS). So that we excel as individuals and more importantly as an Ummah (Community)!
The Philadelphia Masjid has been located in West Philadelphia since 1975. At that time it was called Sister Clara Muhammad School which evolved from the University of Islam established in the 1930's, under the leadership of the late Elijah Muhammad and later his son Imam Warith Deen Mohammad who assumed the leadership of his father in 1975.

our Community Liaison for the youth has sponsored a Job Hiring event for High School Teens in conjunction with ShopRite Stores and
other organizations to help battle "Gun Violence" in the city of Philadelphia Neighborhoods .
Our youth is our "Top Priority" at our masjid.
This Event will take place every Thursday
