Parkchester Islamic Center (PIC) began its activities in the private house located at 1890 Wood Ave in 2013. 5 daily prayers, Jumu'ah, and educational programs were hosted regularly. Special emphasis was placed on programs for youth, both male and female, to engage the future generation of our Ummah.
The adjacent building, formerly used as a Synonogue, was purchased and renovated to be used at the Masjid's main building in 2015. As the Parkchester community continues to grow, so do the activities at the Masjid.
Currently PIC has a full-time school (QAFYS), weekend school, youth halaqas, and numerous other programs throughout the year.

this place is pretty bad {for a musjid} .they will always, always beg for money, the imam doesn’t do anythings in the programs and plus, when I went to the summer program they scam me, I didn’t learn anything it was so easy mate. If this wasn’t a musjid i would rank 1 star.

This mosque is very unique compare to others around. Young children can play around and no one will say anything. Very family friendly. Sisters have places to pray. They offer full time Quran academy for young scholar, part time hefz, and weekend school. Also halaqa for both brother and sister and tafsir in each month. They have gym in the first floor. Come and get involve.

Alhamdulillah finally found riba (interest) and politics free mashjid ! The muslims of parkchester area need more mashjid like this. May Allah guide and protect us all.
