I came to Rochester for an event and decided to try the African food here. I had the fish jollof rice, and it tasted amazing . The portions were generous, and I couldnt stop myself from eating because it was so tasty. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly. Should I visit Rochester again, I would definitely come back here. I also recommend trying the ginger tea.
Amazing place, service and the food was out of this world thank you so so much.
Had a grubhub driver cancel my order with these guys out of frustration yesterday. I finally understand his pain after trying to pick up my own food today. How can you be so uptight about below average food. Most of us are getting it because we are home sick; not because the quality is even ok. Never ordering from them again.
The food is consistent and tasty.. The portions are plentiful.. Thank you for sharing the culture with quality food.
I ordered hatian fish and a fish patty the portions are good the patties are good but the fish was not good it was not prepared true hatian style it was not fresh at all its like they re fried it to warm in up there were a lot of places in the fish that was hard and dry for $40 i would expect freshly prepared fish the cashier was nice, dont advertise hatian food if you cant even come close the black rice was hard and dry. The pickliz was not spicy more sour, will not be back not even for the good patties
Great food, very clean place, the other is very nice
Amazing food,
Had the fried red snapper with black rice and I swear it was the best fried fish I have had in the US. The black rice was good enough to be a main on its own.
Wife had the egusi stew w/ fufu and that was incredible as well.
If you like spicy ask for their pickli and pepper sauce, they are incredible.
Can’t wait to go back.
I went here to get some herbs for my new hair care regime. They were not friendly at all. No one greets you when you walk in, and the guy eith the dreads was on HIS PHONE the entire time. You cannot be successful in business that way…AT ALL. I wanted to tryvthe food, but everyone was in the back……what’s that about . I am debating if I will go back.
