My adult granddaughter & I came today from DC to have lunch and we were excited to come. The food was fresh but the man at the counter was not friendly. I greeted him but he did not respond. He was rude to us. I was asking him about the Pide and he took the bowl that he was going to put my granddaughters food in and raised his arm with the bowl in his hand and pointed to the pictures of the pide and said do you want this one or this one naming the flavors rudely. My granddaughter asked for
2 more sauces and he said he didnt have any more little containers then he walked over to a table behind him and got the containers for her sauce. I thought maybe it was a language barrier but Then I noticed he wasnt speaking to other customers the way he spoke to us. I am Muslim and there were Muslims there and other people also so I dont know why this man was so abrupt with us but we will not be back. We spent almost $50 and I was sad about how we were treated. Will not recommend this business because the man taking orders at the counter was so rude. I dont understand
why.
New restaurant on regular rotation for me. It’s like a Turkish Chipotle. You build your bowl out of the many different options they have available. Pick your base, protein, vegetable sides.
First visit food was great and staff mostly kind, but the man in the white shirt with gray hair (likely the owner) was rude when we asked for a tea refill. No apology, just an unfriendly attitude. Busy or not, treating all customers respectfully, regardless of ethnicity, is important.
We’re here to visit Washington DC. And we found this place to eat lahmacun. The food is very good. Lahmacun and pita bread were very good. The staff are friendly and very approachable. The prices are very reasonable. The environment is very clean. I recommend it to everyone.
The food was very fresh and nicely made. Everything tasted delicious and the workers were very friendly. I totally recommend visiting and trying out the food.

I tried the lahmacun and lentil soup, and both were delicious. A great restaurant for anyone who enjoys Turkish cuisine.
