The meat was fresh and delicious. Prices are great.

Today my friend and I stumbled across this amazing store.. All of the staff were helpful and knowledgeable of their products.. All of the meat cuts were fresh and inviting I will definitely be making another trip there to shop.

Was greeted rudely when I first arrived. And you all don’t sell live chickens anymore?

I stopped by to grab meat for the week for the meals we had planned. I grabbed two large T bones, a couple pounds of ground and asked for 5 lbs of sirloin steaks. The gentleman who greeted and helped me seemed new. He was pleasant, helpful and grabbed a manager to assist with the sirloin. The manager came over, asked how much I wanted, then grabbed a primal of meat. I asked him “is that sirloin?” because it didn’t resemble top sirloin and he told me “yes.” Ok great. I asked for 5 pounds, cut approximately 3/4 thick.

After slicing and weighing, the original gentleman bagged up my meat and cashed me out. That evening my wife and I shared T Bone. It was great! The next evening I made half of the ground. That was also great. The following afternoon I decided to throw a “sirloin” on the grill for my lunch and make the rest for family dinner. That didn’t happen. I didn’t receive sirloin… I received top round!!! If you know meat, you know these are two drastically different cuts and top round isn’t typically “steak” meat. I essentially wasted $50 because the manager either didn’t know the difference or didn’t think I would… both are unacceptable. I expect people to be impeccable with their word. Especially in a service business.

Based on the T Bones, I told my wife I was going to ask about thier 1/4 and 1/2 beef options… but this left me with a real sour taste.
