I went to Ali’s 4 times and the food was great. The doubles was on point. The Bara was soft and nice. I will say in August I was pissed off to learn that after I tipped $10 in the bucket, I asked the lady if she receives her tips, she told me no. They don’t get their tips. TO THE OWNERS OF ALI’S ROTI SHOP It is very unfair that you do not give the workers their earned tips. That is wickedness to the fullest extent. You are never there when I visit there so why do you think that it is your right to collect the tips? It is inhumane to have these hard working ladies work all day and you take their tips. I tip on the credit card machine and cash. So you take all their tips? Why? Explain that process. I know you read these comments. If you don’t answer I will take this to social media
This place is great, they have great food, The curry chicken roti was amazing and the pelau rice with chicken was good too
What a gem of a restaurant and so easy to find. Wow! Their food is delicious. The place is probably the cleanest West Indian restaurant Ive ventured into in South Florida. The only downside is limited parking to the front, but theres more parking to the back and side of the building, so dont worry. The staff is also very helpful and extremely humble. They sell breakfast all day, so I got a hot, steamy sada roti with two sides ( patchoi and eggplant choka). My sada was pillowy and piping hot. I ordered doubles and a bake and shark to go. The portion sizes are huge. It is well worth the drive. They also have a nice supply of desserts like currants roll, coconut roll etc. one small issue is that they dont have a wide selection of Caribbean drinks, however I did get a red solo. Thank you for your amazing customer service. I cant wait to be back!
Awesome food horrible service
Nothing previous owner was friendly and reliable and the door was open at 9:00 every day however the new owner is mean and yells at you to hurry up and buy ..
Best Trinidadian Food in South Florida. Hands down you’ll agree once you taste their dishes and natural juices.
lemme tell allyuh something…most of Trini people know the difference between dhalpuri and paratha, but new customers? Dey clueless! I seeing de lady at de counter asking people which one dey want, and half of dem looking lost, getting frustrated, and real confused. If all ya dont start educating dem( whether is a lil sign or just a quick breakdown) how new business gonn grow?
Yuh cyah just cater to de regulars and expect fresh faces to figure it out on dey own. Help dem out
Best trini roti and doubles in town. Almost feels like you’re in the islands. And the fish sandwich is delicious. Wish they had more locations!
