The food is really good and they have a few fusion dishes that are not available on the rest of Devon. It’s a bit overpriced for what they offer.
This Anmol is not the same Anmol it used to be. Avoid as it has horrible service and response
We had a platter 1 they used to serve fresh mutton chops but now i received unhygienic chops looked and tasted different meat than mutton, although BBQ was good, and overall service from the call was not at all good.
One of the best and clean Restaurant on Devon. The staff are really good. The food is really tasty. I will recommend to try once.
I recently dined at Anmol BBQ Restaurant, now relocated within the premises of Al Badia Restaurant, and it was an absolute pleasure! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the professional staff and the humble owner, Masood Qadeer Sahab, who truly made the experience special.
I indulged in the chicken tikka and malai, both cooked to perfectionso flavorful and tender! The mango habanero chicken added a delightful twist, offering a perfect balance of sweetness and spice. The garlic naan was a must-have, complementing the dishes beautifully.
For my main course, I savored the Peshawari mutton karahi, which was a rich and aromatic masterpiece. Each bite was bursting with flavor! The Raman buffet showcased an incredible variety, and I couldn’t get enough.
To top it all off, they served delicious doodh dulri in-house, which was a refreshing end to an amazing meal. If youre looking for a mouthwatering dining experience, Anmol BBQ is the place to be! Its a legacy worth preserving! Highly recommend!
I’m only going to say: new location –
I appreciate them trying but sorry, not the same.
Not organized – waiters/waitresses don’t know the menu nor do they know what Anmol is (was) about. Told them several times we are here for Anmol but were still handed Al-Badia menus. When we did receive the menus, anything we ask about, the waitress would have to go and ask anmol’s kitchen side to verify. I understand this merge is new but it didn’t give us, the customer, a good feeling.
Usually when waiting we are given traditional starter salad that consists of onions, tomato, cucumber slices served with raita & chutney. Firstly – we had to ask for it. Secondly – when we got it, we were given some sort of tabouli. We asked for Anmol menus, hence Pakistani cuisine – why serve us that?
Serving tap water and when asked for cold water – we got 2 glasses full of ice. Had to ask a few times to get us water since we ran out.
Bihari boti: some parts were cold to touch and completely tasteless.
Nihari: I don’t know what it was honestly. It didn’t taste like nihari at all.
Seekh kabob: smelly & bland.
Naan: arabic pita bread.
Chicken boti: decent BUT a few pieces looked and smelled OLD. Fresh ones were moist and glistening from inside when I pulled it apart.
I wanted to cry because I brought my family visiting from out of state here. My husband and I were going to cater from Anmol for my daughter’s birthday. It’s such a shame.
So it seems like this restaurant got sold and recipes were not included.
Food is not good as it used to be at the new location. So it seems like two different restaurants in the same restaurant, really strange weird vibe and food not nearly as flavorful as I remember it. There are plenty of restaurants near it that are better, I would avoid this cash grab uninspired pile of whatever it is.
Edit after owner reply: as I appreciate small local businesses and try to support them. The Biryani I ordered was just yellow rice with no Biryani flavors or the mixture of different colors. I still stand by my original comments that food at this restaurant is not recognizable if you ate Anmol before or Pakistani food in general.
Soo disappointed!!
I ordered rolls for take away for a party. All the rolls had burnt roti, several of them had burnt meat as well.
Never coming back again for sure!
This is not anmol anymore the food is Arabic not desi food
My family and I love this place. We get food from here often and are never disappointed. Adeel provides great customer service. He made sure we were completely satisfied with everything. Will definitely be back
