The food is good however the services is so bad! My family and I went in to sit down and eat and we asked if we can sit down. The worker looked at us like we were crazy for asking that. We ordered something and sat down and was not offered water or anything. We had to ask him for water and utensil for our food. When we went to pay we didnt leave tip because it wasnt deserved due to the horrible service. He asked us why we didnt tip and said that next time we come hes not serving us.

First visit, will be back. The newness of the counter girl made the ordering experience tedious. She couldn’t answer basic questions like what veggies are in the fried rice. The gentleman was professional and friendly. He offered hot sauce and a laugh. Decided to buy a bottle of Peach Jinro. We will see how that goes We enjoyed one of our boneless honey garlic wings and a few crispy sweet potato fries before closing our bag and heading out.

2nd visit – 8/26/25. Sad to say, if these wings were freshly fried, visit two was not very great. The bone in wings were top notch. The boneless were dried, tough, and not very good at all. I’m fact we threw them away. Probably will not be getting boneless wings again. They were quite underwhelming. We’ll likely return but will stick around and taste at least one before leaving.

When bb.q Chicken first opened at this location, I was seriously impressed. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and fresh. I recommended it to everyone I knew. Unfortunately, the quality has really gone downhill.

Todays order was especially disappointing. The chicken was greasy, with a slight bitter or sour aftertaste, and it smelled like it had been cooked in old oil.

I had scheduled my pickup at a specific time so we could enjoy it fresh and hot. But when I called to ask if I could move the pickup just 10 minutes earlier, I was told the food was already being made and would be ready in 2 minutes. This was 35 minutes before the time I had originally scheduled. So instead of being freshly made, the food sat around and by the time it was picked up, it was lukewarm and soggy.

Whats the point of offering a scheduling system on your website if it isnt going to be followed?

Sadly, we couldnt even finish the chicken. Its a big disappointment considering how good this place used to be. This might be the last time we order from here.

Edited to add: This review isnt just based on todays experience. Ive noticed a steady decline in quality and consistency over the past year. Ive given it multiple chances, hoping it would return to what it once was, but it just hasnt.

Owner at the Ashburn location takes food quality to the next level. They always deliver the best quality chicken in the DMV area. Hands down the best Korean chicken! And they are super friendly!
