This is one of the bad bangladeshi restaurant i ever tried. We went there for lunch and Waited 30min for food. We ordered chicken roast combo and plain rice, lentil and jali kabab. My husband got his roast combo and my jali kabab was missing and i Waited 10 more minutes and then they said i need to wait 15 min more because they gave my jali kabab to someone else. What a ridiculous service. They were not sorry for that. There was another bangladeshi guy who was very aggressive and hostile. Then we ordered one more chicken roast but that one was rotten and very smelly. If i get sick definitely i will complain to health department.Bad customer service and bad food.I will suggest all of my friends to avoid this shady restaurant.
Bangladeshi restaurants are few and far between in the Bay so I was pleasantly surprised when I bumped into this place. The food was good for the most part (we had egg chicken roll, moghlai, mixed veg, paratha, chicken roast and polao) – a tweak here and there would make it better (changing the rice used for polao, not over frying the moghlai). The service was nice and the prices seemed OK. Definitely going back!
Great Bengali food at reasonable prices. Quality rarely disappoints in so many years.
The food was awesome.
Service wasnt the best, but my expectations were not much high either.
The overall ambiance was very chaotic.
But the best thing is the food. It is probably the most authentic Bangladeshi food you can get anywhere in bay area. You should fall in love easily with the taste if you like Bangladeshi foods.
Mishti doi is absolutely perfect ❤️
Highly disappointed. First of all, that was not ‘kachhi’—it was just polau with goat curry. Second, the chicken roast was good; however, with half of that price I had better chicken roast in Los Angeles and New York.
We had lunch here, ordering Mughlai paratha, egg chicken roll, radhaballabhi, and aloo dum. We really enjoyed the radhaballabhi and aloo dum, which were flavorful. However, the roll and paratha could have used more spices for added flavor. The ambience was decent but a bit cluttered, with limited seating. Service was slow, as we waited around 25 minutes to be served. Overall, the food was good, especially considering the limited Bengali food options around.
This is my go-to spot for Bangladeshi food in the bay area, coming from SF. Fills in the void when Im missing home food
The Food is great. I tried chicken roast, biriyani , kochuri . Their mishti doi and rosogolla is amazing
We recently dined at Bongos and had the pleasure of trying several dishes, including their Ilish Maach, Prawn Malaikari, Chicken Roast, Chicken Polao, Biriyani, and Nolen Gurer Rosogolla. Each dish was perfectly cooked, and rich in flavor.
The highlight of the meal was the Nolen Gurer Rosogollaundoubtedly one of the best Ive ever had. Among all the dishes, I highly recommend the Chicken Roast, their flavorful Biriyani, and Sorshe Ilish.
Ordered two kacchi. Served with no eggs and bad smell. No where close to Kacchi. Never recommend this place.
