I just moved to this neighborhood this week, and today marked my first official visit which has unfortunately been ruined by an extremely obnoxious cashier! When it was time to ring up the items that I wanted to purchase, I asked the guy to create a loyalty account and he started to argue with me after messing up my name despite me spelling it out for him slowly. He kept on challenging me to watch/listen to the store cameras which I had initially ignored but when he kept repeating himself, I accepted his challenge since I knew what I had said to him. He didnt do anything with the footage though so that meant he knew the truth and just didnt want to get caught in his lies! He wasnt even 1% apologetic about his rude behavior towards me hence I didnt bother apologizing for talking back to him either! My guess is how he assumed that because Im female, he can talk down to me and Ill just take it like a doormat! But NOPE! I plan to return to this grocery next time, perhaps with my mom and brother, so we can speak to the manager about hiring such unpleasant people who should never be working in customer service in the first place!!
