The Masjid is supposed to always be open. For them to lock the doors after anytime between Fajr and Isha is wrong. One time I came around 8:30 am, I already offered Fajr Salah earlier but was on my way back from dropping my daughter off at her school nearby, and the door was locked. I knew someone was inside so I kept knocking on the door until they answered. I then walked in, right past the individual trying to block me, performed a Sunnah prayer for passing by a Masjid and left.

Good community, parking is a challenge during Jummah. Women can pray on the second floor. Khutbah is in English.

Excellent masjid in downtown Tampa, Florida. Very clean and people are very friendly. Have prayer place for both man and woman.

This is a small masjid downtown. Close to Riverwalk. The ablution area seems clean. I went there for Friday prayers the prayer area was nice and the carpet was vacuumed. Not sure if they have a prayer area for the ladies. The Friday sermon was in English. I think they only have one Friday prayer. Everyone seems to be friendly. They have a small parking place in front of the masjid entrance, but definitely not enough for the Friday congregation. We did find a parking place on the main street. You can find Quran versus on the walls.

Peaceful please
ASAD SHAIKH
Excellent Masjid that provides a place for the Muslims of Downtown Tampa to congregate & enjoy the blessing of prayer. Just because it is not a huge piece of land (hard to find in the city) do not overlooking the dedication and kindness of the brothers who keep this place running well. I live in the neighborhood (north Hyde park) and walk to the masjid for jumuah and sometimes for Fajr.
