Our mission is to connect our children to the Masjid and to Allah by providing religious, educational and social activities through the teaching of Islam. Sunday school is committed to teaching the Arabic language, Quran and providing Islamic education to children of the Muslim community in Manassas, Centerville, Gainesville and the surrounding areas.

The majority muslim population countries including the U.S. celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr on Friday, April 21, 2023 based upon lunar calendar(this year the Ramadan month has 29 days). But the Prince William Islamic Centers Imam preferred to celebrate it on April 22, 2023. It does NOT make sense. Imam said several nights ago whether the others [people]celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Friday but we will celebrate it on Saturday!!!? Nowadays, it is very simple to verify Ramadan month 10 or 20 years in advance by using astronomical instruments. It would be nice to celebrate it together with American and other muslims across the world.

I was married at this masjid. I see so many bad reviews about the Imam. Well I like to say that I love this man. Yes he can be harsh at times but it’s all out of love for the ummah. I can’t count how many times I have been in jummah and heard someone’s phone ring. Of course he will get upset like I do. And I remember 1 time where someone was standing there in the front opening of the masjid using his phone during the kutbah. If you have a baby crying YES take them out of the masjid. May Allah bless the Imam and the masjid and all that walks through the doors!! And Sheik if you happen to read this just know I’m taking your advice and I keep smiling!

Aslamalaikum please update the website with the most up to date prayer times for the convenience of the community. Using something such as Mawaqit or posting a monthly calendar with adhan and iqama times will be helpful. JZK
