This is the BEST BBQ place I have gone to in 10 years across several states. Any time I have even an idea for BBQ this is the ONLY place Im interested to go. There are several decent places to go, they are just not in the same class as ABs.
Great hospitality here. Good people. Id encourage anyone to try anything here but I can assure its the ribs that really get the job done here. Incredible flavor.
The rib and brisket were sooo tender. Cornbread was great with a little bit of sweetness. While the skin of the chicken was seasoned to perfection unfortunately the chicken meat itself was not. Loved the baked beans. They were nice and mesquite. The mac and cheese was not bad 6/10. (Bread crumbs on top are not seasoned) Personally the mac and cheese is much better without the breadcrumbs. The barbecue sauce was very vinegar base. I did not like it. But if you love apple cider vinegar this is your sauce. The burger was a 10/10. So fresh and seasoned to perfection. I love that you can get it cook to your preference. The well done was nice and juicy.
There is plenty of seating inside with a bathroom. There is plenty room for parking.
Ordered the platter for one. It was mediocre at best. The beans were amazing, but the mac and cheese was disappointing, wet, and not cheesy. The chicken honestly felt more raw than cooked. The flavor was okay but nothing special. The brisket was good, but the ribs were disappointing, lacking both meat and flavor. Overall the only outstanding piece of food I ate was the brisket. Everything else was mid at best. I would rate it a 2.5, but I will give it a little higher since it is halal. I feel like their burger might be better since it has less chance of disappointment. The staff was very friendly and nice.
Got the platter for 1 for my first time here, beef ribs were tough (could barely cut through the meat with a sharp knife and had a few bites that I couldn’t chew through), chicken legs were tender and juicy, but the brisket was the best I’ve ever had in my life. I’m definitely going to go out of my way to come back for the brisket.

Do you know how hard it is to find a restaurant that serves BBQ Beef ribs in Michigan? This place is a national treasure.
