Our first visit to Apna Bazar was a mix of shopping and dining. The grocery section offers a great variety of Pakistani products at reasonable prices, with plenty of well-known brands to choose from. They also have a halal meat section, though we didnt purchase any this timeprices seemed average.
One standout feature of the store is the in-house restaurant, which we had heard about through recommendations. We decided to try the **chicken biryani** and **goat pulao**. The biryani could use a bit more flavor and spice to truly capture its authentic taste, and as for the goat pulaoplease, **no potatoes!** It just didnt work for us.
For the kids, we ordered the **chicken naan roll**, and that was a hitit was done well and they enjoyed it. A nice touch is that **chai is complimentary**, but unfortunately, their **doodh patti** didnt quite hit the mark.
Overall, it was a different experience, and while some dishes needed improvement, the variety of groceries and convenience of an attached restaurant make this spot worth checking out.
