This Northwestern Chinese restaurant serves the most authentic Lanzhou beef noodle soup in the entire DFW areatruly the best Ive had. Im not a friend or acquaintance of the owner; Im simply a food enthusiast who takes pride in my taste and judgment. The restaurant has had a few different chefs over time, and the current noodle master is absolutely the best! His hand-pulled noodles are incredibly chewy and have the perfect texture. Ill definitely be coming back!

️WARNING️ THIS PLACE IS NOT HALAL! They use machine slaughtered animals and say it is Halal, when its not. This is like saying I sell halal pork.
I had it once before without knowing that fact and the food is good but leaves a terrible aftertaste. But sadly cannot come back due to the meat not actually being Halal.

Good noodle but unfriendly and terrible service. I was hesitant to come in since it was late. Unfortunately, I was hungry and as a restaurant owner myself I know I need to be considerate.
The server told me as soon as I was seated and informed me the kitchen will close in 20 mins. I havent even looked at the menu and he expected me to place my order. While I reviewed the menu, he started to place the chairs on top of the dinning tables around me. Thats the strong indicator that he wanted to close the restaurant.
I enjoyed the noodle soup but the service was truly awful. Honestly, I dont think they are reviewing this comment because the owner was not present when I asked to speak to him/her. I finished my meal right before they closed. I understand must be a long day for them.
Highly not recommended. So sad this kind of serving attitude was represented.

The food was just okay, nothing memorable. The noodles were averagelots of different types on the menu, but they all tasted pretty much the same. The Spicy Braised Lamb felt like a pre-made dish, with barely any lamb in it (honestly, the Chinese burger had more meat than the lamb dish itself). The only thing that was decent was the Chinese Burger with beef, but even that was quite dry. Definitely not worth making a trip just for this place.
Service was also disappointing. When we asked if we could sit outside, the server responded rudely that it wasnt busy so we had to sit inside. Later, when another group asked the same thing, they got the same treatment. The server only showed up to take our order and drop off the food, then disappeared. At checkout, I had to go to the front to find him. To top it off, he stood right in front of us while we decided the tip, which was uncomfortable.
I understand what to expect from most Chinese restaurants, but this places service was below even that standard. Overall, very underwhelming.

The noodle was good. But the waiter was not polite, we were not allowed to sit at the booth for no reason while the whole restaurant being empty. The spicy braised lamb had way too few meat potion and most of them were fatty.

Ordered Stir Fried noodles for to go but when tried they were so dry. Spices were also dry and had no taste. We always go to DH gate but this time it was not good at all.
