Worst place to shop super expensive The old Indian lady front cashier is rude and very argumative. She always argue with customers and like to start problems. .. Just go some where else dont spend your money at this store.
A good place for ethnic Bangladeshi/Indian grocery. Parking is tight. The grocery shop is also tight. Good variety of grocery items, halal meat and desi fish!
Foodland is a great option for all you need at one place. Huge selection of Vegetables and fruits.
Thay also offer butcher and Halal meat. Overall great place.
None of the items have price tags.
Also new thing about 3% service charge on non card transactions which is only indicated in a small paper near checkout which should be advertised more.
Edit: I went after a long time to this store and yes the 3% fee is now not there. I’m still very disappointed by lack of transparency when it comes to price tags. Many items don’t have tags on them or around them. Roti’s that I bought had two tags around the fridge and I was charged completely different (more) price at the checkout. If there is no price tag on item, I’m not going to consider buying it ever.
The store stinks. As soon as you enter the store, you can’t stand the weird smell of the store, and you feel like stepping out as soon as possible. Most items do not have price tags. Some items seem like they’ve been sitting their forever. Only go here for last minute/emergency stuff.
Typical indian/pakistani store great for spices BUT the butcher shop looks dirty with a filthy table saw that does get cleaned when meats to be cut are different!
Great price! Price of:
White upma: around $4-5 for a 4lb pack
Rava upma: around $4-5 for a 4lb pack
Tamil/Telugu style pickle: around $2.50 a bottle.
Products with ‘Buy one get one free’ from manufacturer – are respected and given at this store, unlike other areas where they even sell those.
