The food was amazing and the service was exceptional

You may ask yourself, how did they get here? This is not some fancy-schmancy eatery on main street HB, but it sure tastes like it! This place is the very definition of “hidden gem”.
In more than ten years coming to this restaurant I’ve never once been disappointed! This is a family owned establishment and they clearly take pride in what they do; from the quality of the food to the cleanliness of the place, and back to the attentive and polite service, you can be assured that you will be taken care of and that your food will be fresh and perfect. Sincerely, do not be fooled by the humble decorating style of the dining area, the styrofoam takeout containers, or the strip mall where it’s located; this is top quality, authentic Mediterranean food and you will not find any better in the “fancier” restaurants of O.C.
My usual order is the two-skewer lamb kebab plate with baba ghanouj, mediterranean salad or tzatseki as the sides. The rice pilaf is just right, and the garlic sauce is the condiment that elevates everything. The gyro sandwich is also wonderful (pictured cut open so you can see the fillings). I often save half for the next day’s lunch.
They must be experts at preparing lamb here at Kebab Grill, and I wholeheartedly recommend that you try the lamb kebabs, roast lamb, or the lamb shanks — give them a chance to impress you with their signature meat!

Our favorite local eatery for gyro, rice, hummus, and baba ghanoush (creamy eggplant). Friendly, but parking can be a challenge depending on when you go.

Always a delicious meal. I’ve been coming here for 16 years.
