Google Guide Review : I was in the area after returning an item close by. I was looking for a place to get some work done while being able to get food and Kitab was perfect. I ordered the Caprese on Sourdough and their Spinach Lentil Soup w/ Sourdough bread. Both were greatly flavorful and tasted amazing. There was no empty room on the sandwich where you were left with bread with no toppings. The soup pad tons of spinach, lentils, and veggies with seasoned broth that hit the soul. The atmosphere was great for coworking and fellowship surrounded by Middle Eastern decor and sounds. I will definitely be visiting again 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The service is proper and the food is not bad, but the book selection is not very diverse. However this is a great place to get some snack or drink whether it be for breakfast, lunch, or an evening end off. Very nice environment and many places to sit either alone or with a small group.

Kitab is honestly one of the best things to happen to Hamtramck. The sandwiches are amazing, and the sense of community is even better. The space is a bit small, but I actually prefer this location over the Midtown one. Highly recommend trying the white chocolate mocha or the iced chai tea!

Honestly this is my favorite cafe in Hamtramck, they have fresh bakery, coffee, and sandwiches! Atmosphere there was amazing, also a lot of books to read from. 10/10 (cookie butter latte is amazing)

Really lovely place with lots of chairs. A great place to read ir work. With WiFi and charging outlets. The grandma’s golden tea was delicious for those with a sweet tooth and the staff are friendly and helpful. I had the Holbrook sandwich which was lovely with a lot of spice.

UPDATE: I come here all the time as I love their sandwiches and drinks and Its been a while since I seen the barista Sonia and Im so glad I did because the way she provides everyone with the most exceptional service in an excited to serve you manner makes you feel very welcomed from the moment you walk in, the drinks she makes taste wonderful , I was so glad to see her again, the cookie butter latte is a 10/10
Love this cafe! Food and drinks are always good, Ive been in here twice and the first time, I couldn’t help but to feel like the woman at the cash register was talking about me in her second language , she was a bit stand offish 🙁 but on my second trip , sonia I think her name was , was very sweet and welcoming, greeted me immediately upon entering & she did a great job in making my drink, Ill definitely be back!!
