This is a great shop for the Pakisthani, Indian and Bangladeshi people. Many spices from those countries can be found in this store. The owner claim that all the foods present there are Halal.
When I walked into Madina for the first time, I thought, oh look, another Indo-Paki grocery store. Weeks went by and I found myself addicted to the place. I dont know if it was the two devilishly handsome young men that work there (one whom has chiseled marble for biceps and the hair of an angel, and the other whose skin looks softer than the flesh of a home grown Pakistani mango), or the wide variety of low priced halal meats and spices, or maybe the collection of exquisite and delicious foreign snacks, or the small baby plums that remind me of my ex-wife Chandramunki. Quite possibly, I may be addicted to this store because of the owner, a silver fox of a man who seems to have aged like a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. Either way, this is a place you will certainly frequent regularly
I bought some bread, breakfast cheese and a yogurt drink on July 14. Right after I arrived home when I was putting the yogurt drink in the fridge I found some molds around the bottle cap. Checked the expiration date and it was July 2!! I was about to drink it almost 2 weeks after the expiration date… Thanks God I saw the molds amd checked the date on the bottle…
