Sophia helped my husband and I, she was super knowledgeable of the product and the brand. She made sure we were able to sign up for loyalties and assisted us in purchasing our delicious froyo in a way we could eat it a little later in our evening without compromising the integrity of the food =) will definitely come back with my spoon!!
I like this place for frozen yogurt. They have an ok variety of flavors. Their staff is ok as well! Affordable prices for froyo
I didnt quite get the name of the person that was working, however on Wednesday night 04/10 around 8:30 I had taken a trip to enjoy and indulge in some froyo. When me and my friends had sat down and started conversation, the employee that was working decided to rudely interrupt my conversation to call me and my friends not intelligent and proceeded to very disrespectfully tell us to leave.
The girls at this store are always closing early. If you go in after 8:30 forget it. Theyre always counting the money out in the open & make it known that theyre aggravated by customers. They always mop early forcing you to walk on a wet floor and they leave the mop out right in front of the machines. Aside from the hazards theyre creating, they package up all the toppings so its pointless to even go. We walked out. Also the cleanliness of this store is an issue. All that has been mentioned is a routine occurrence at this store. I wont be going back.
This is one of the first frozen yogurt places I’ve been in a while that actually had most of the machines working. If you’re looking for fro-yo, this is a good place to fro-go.
Very dirty store. The place has so much more potential. The patio could be so cute, but broken dirty tables take over. Won’t be back. Disappointing.
First time visiting this location and it was filthy to me. Smeared handprints on all glass surfaces in sight, toppings sprinkled on countertop and floor, sticky floors and clear drops of sticky substance dripped across the floor, topping tongs were also sticky. Ice cream machine handles were sticky and the smell was overall unpleasant. The 2 workers were posted at the counter and only one was checking out. There was no reason the other person couldn’t have been cleaning. If I didn’t have two kids in tow and I didn’t want to disappoint then I would have walked out without a purchase. Grabbed a minimum purchase and got out as fast as I could. Will not revisit. Needs some serious training, retraining and cleaning.
How the mighty have fallen. We have loved Menchie’s for years and used to frequent this one. It’s been awhile since we’ve been and wow, it’s depressing.
I’m going to assume management changed and they just don’t care about this place. Everything is filthy: the floor, the glass, the machines, the toppings bar. The kitchen floor is absolutely disgusting. What’s worse is that it’s been at least six months like this, because that’s the last time we came in and were put off by how things were looking like they were going downhill. This time I was greeted by a strange combination of garbage and cleaner smells.
This is a nice place to beat the heat while enjoying your sweets!
My kids used to love going to Menchie’s. It was a whole experience; It was good froyo and a fun atmosphere. Now, it is just drab and kind of gross.
From our experience, the employees tend to be young adults. Maybe this is their first job. As their employer, you should take the opportunity to teach them about customer service. They don’t greet customers. They don’t talk to customers when they ring them up. They don’t ask if they are finding everything okay. They don’t ask if it is your first time there and if you would like to sample the flavors. They don’t explain that certain lights on machines mean that one isn’t working or isn’t ready. The employees stand behind the register on their phones until you are ready to pay. This is a stark contrast to my first job serving customers. That is where I learned about good customer service and carried on those skills tonfuture jobs. What a poor opportunity you are providing your young employees.
The tables, especially outside, are not cleaned in between customers, and cleanliness doesn’t seem to be a priority. Then, it gets to be around 8:30, and all of a sudden, they want to start closing for the day, even though you are open until 10, and start cleaning and packing everything. Restrooms are off limits to customers (???).
It is my understanding that other businesses are run out of your store, like Edible Arrangements, and maybe that is where you make your “real” money. Kids want froyo, but their parents don’t like to give repeat business to places where they repeatedly receive poor service, especially for what they are paying. We will take our kids to Dairy Queem or literally any other place that serves ice cream. Makes me miss Lori Bell’s.
Note: I have a personal policy of only giving positive reviews, and I am a frequent reviewer. Most bad experiences I have at businesses are a one time thing, and I don’t think it is fair to give a one review for one bad day. Check my other reviews. I broke my own review policy for this one because it happens every single time.
