Mesquite Islamic Center (MIC) is a non-profit organization of Muslims dedicated to worship, education, and community service in the Mesquite, Texas area.
MIC was founded on the idea of helping those in need. Ever since our organization was established, we have endeavored to provide help where the need is greatest.
Our team is made up entirely of volunteers. We advocate for those who need our help. Even a little help goes a long way.
MIC currently consists of two musallahs, one for the men that has a capacity of 200 people, and one for the sisters that have a capacity of 150 sisters. It also has a Multipurpose hall. It also has six classrooms, 3 offices and a kitchen. There is a playground for the children, a soccer field and volleyball and a basketball courts. MIC Strives To:
Organize religious, educational, social, and cultural faith-based events.
Promote, strengthen, and implement family values
Assist disadvantaged individuals and families.
Promote cooperation and bridges building among all facets of the society.
Seek constructive dialogue and mutual understanding.
Further better understanding and appreciation of Islam among non-Muslims.
Promote brotherhood, mercy, compassion and peace.

Very, very, very welcoming place. Everyone in there would great me by hand and look me directly in the eye and give me a smile, even though I was a stranger. They were giving free food to everyone there and it was one of the most delicious food I have ever eaten. During their prayer the person who would lead them had a very beautiful and calming voice. Everyone there is nice and respectful even the kids were respectful which is something you don’t see very often in today’s world.
