Probably the worst cold brew Ive ever had. Watered down and filled with ice
The Tuscany sandwich was very good – I got mine with turkey. Cute place for coffee and breakfast
Amazing coffee and service. Loved the manakeesh made for a perfect on the go breakfast. Cant wait to come back!
UPDATE: Really happy to report that over the last few months, theyve brought in a lot of new employees and it has significantly sped up waiting times and reduced the insane lines!!
Original: I really do like this place but it is SLOW. The pastries are amazing and the drinks are very good, but I really wish they would reconsider their processes. Ive waited in line over 25min to order and about the same to get a basic drink. Its tough when the employee at the register leaves to the back for 5min and no one else steps in when theres a line of 5-10 people waiting. I also wish they added prices to everything in the pastry case because my jaw dropped when I saw how much the dubai chocolate rang up at. It was really good, but I wish the price didnt have to be a surprise. Overall, I like what this place has to offer but a few process improvements could easily prevent some of the bad experiences Ive had here.
Over hyped. Coffee was mid at best. Food was not that good. But the ordering process is not good. Its cramped, over crowded very load and slow.
Coffee tastes bad and rose latte doesnt taste good and its just bitter and the lady was rude when looking at baked goods. which probably are also bad
amazing lattes and pastries! Staff is wonderful and the Palestinian decor is absolutely beautiful. perfect place to come for a cozy, social hangout or to read/study. one of my new favorite cafes in Chicago 🙂
This is not an lgbt-friendly establishment. Didnt ask my name, was very stoic and just generally unfriendly to me, so im just standing there awkwardly not knowing which food or drink is mine. And the cold brew tasted like brewed coffee..
Oud is an amazing place to catch up with a friend or just enjoy a coffee and dessert. Their coffee, savory, and sweet selection is wonderful. I ordered the iced oud latte, I was a bit hesitant since I dont like sweet or flavored coffee but it was wonderful. The cappuccino and cortado were also excellent.
The star of the show was the date cake. It was absolutely scrumptious but I was really disappointed to find that it was almost $12 after tax! I eat and drink out plenty but this is really just an absurd price for a small slice of cake, so Im taking a star off for that. I recommend adding prices to desserts for transparency.
STOP DELETING MY REVIEW. Turkish coffee served poorly. If youre offering an authentic drink, either serve it as it supposed to be or remove it from the menu. Forgot to mention, there were flies inside the bakery/pastry window display. Rude staff. Weird and creepy peoples stares (bad vibes).
