Food is great and the service is always great as it is automated by the robot servers, however, upon my most recent visit, I was taken back when I walked my 4 year old son and heard uncensored rap music playing (specifically the song “Still DRE”by Dr. Dre followed by” Gangsters Paradise” by Coolio). Now although I’m a huge fan of these songs, I would not expose them to my children or any young kids. This is very concerning as this is not a club, it’s a restaurant which has families coming in time and time again. Very disappointed and I hope management can do something about this.

Came at 945, front lady was giving crazy attitude and was trying to tell us not to order because it would take too long. Couldve j said the grill is closing the attitude was unnecessary.

Ive been a loyal customer of peri peri in Hicksville since the early days when Hafeez was managing the location, and I can confidently say that the quality and overall experience have significantly declined since then.
As someone who DoorDashes frequently and dines in regularly, Ive had a front-row seat to the changes. Most recently, I placed an order in person for a very hot butterfly chicken along with mac and cheese, peri fries, and a Nutella milkshake. While driving home, I took a sip of the milkshake only to realize the milk was clearly spoiled. I was about 15 minutes away at that point, so I gave the store a call. The staff member who answered casually stated, We just changed the milk but Ill let the other employees know,. Apology was offered, and there was no mention of a refund or replacement. That kind of customer service is disappointing, especially from a place Ive supported for years.
Pricing has also become unreasonable. I understand that inflation affects everyone, but nearly $17 for an avocado bowl with no sides, and extra charge for sauces especially when it used to be about $10is excessive. Whats more frustrating is that the portion size has noticeably shrunk, and the avocado quantity has been cut down considerably. It feels like corners are being cut without any regard for long-time patrons who remember the quality and value peri peri used to deliver.
Whether its a shift in management or changes in ownership strategy, the direction this restaurant is heading in is concerning. I genuinely hope they take feedback seriously and make the necessary improvementsboth in food quality and customer experiencebecause this place used to be a gem.

Ordered the mild , fries were good rice was okay. Chicken was good had potential. Then they put the peri peri sauce all over it. Like wayyyy too much. Chicken was dosed in sauce then they threw in like 5 mild sauces on the side. Just sell the chicken with the sauces on the side or give me the option. Cashier said to choose a sauce I choose mild. The mild sauce was also very spicy and kind of tasted like just cumin.

We visited Peri Peri Guys after a friend recommended it. I went with my family of 8 which we’re usually hesitant about but the staff accomodated us straight away and made us feel very welcome. I ordered the half grilled peri peri chicken with rice and fries and it was absolutely delicious lots of flavour! The kids loved their meals too. Everything was fresh and served hot. Great service and a relaxed family friendly vibe. Will definitely be back!

Let me tell you something! This is a hidden gem. Was introduced to it by a friend and was surprisingly impressed by how good the food was. Great selection of different chicken dishes and the sauces were absolutely incredible. Over the past few months Ive had to change my dietary restrictions in a major way and Peri Peri Nailed it out the park. The food is fresh. The staff was pleasant. Couldnt be happier! Now they need to open one up closer to me.

Weve been to Peri Peri Guys many times, and its always been a favorite for their amazing chicken wings. The flavor is spot-on, juicy and well-seasoned, especially when dining inthe taste is unbeatable fresh off the grill. At home, its still good, though it doesnt quite match the in-house experience.
One of the best deals theyve had is the buy-one-get-one whole chicken on Uber Eats. Ive ordered that a lot, and its hands down the most economical way to enjoy their food. They have recently increased the price on that deal, so I havent ordered it in a while, but that doesnt change how much I enjoy their food.
If youre a fan of flavorful, tender chicken, Peri Peri Guys is definitely worth visitingespecially for the wings.
