Today I visited Sammys halal unfortunately, my experience left me disappointed and disheartened. The treatment I received was nothing short of discriminatory, unprofessional, and inconsiderate.

Upon arriving at the restaurant on a bitterly cold night at 9:30, my friend and I were shocked to find ourselves denied entry inside. To add insult to injury, we observed the staff allowing someone else indoors to wait comfortably although dining is open till 8pm, leaving us to shiver in the freezing cold. The disparity in treatment was stark and unexplained, leaving us feeling devalued as customers.

Delicious halal food at great prices. The attention to detail is much appreciated. 5 stars

Bad service

Got here at 1:29 a.m. on a Saturday night out with the boys. We read the business hours via google, stating open until 2 am. Once we arrived, the 2 young guys in the window informed us we couldn’t be served food any longer as the grill was just cleaned. We inquired why the grill was closed half an hour prior to closing. The 2 guys just laughed and spoke in their language, ignoring us. I’m not sure what the purpose of opening until 2 am is if the last grill service is way before 1:30 am. Might as well consider readdressing the business hours so as not to mislead individuals who come in for a late night bite.
