My first time eating at a Moroccan restaurant. At first, I almost didn’t walk in because there was a sign that stated Cash Only and I never cash. I decided to walk in and ask if they accepted Zelle. It turned out that I was speaking to the owner, and he told me that it was no problem. He sat us in a beautiful room decked our in Middle Eastern fashion. I wanted to try food native to Moroccans. First, we ordered the Harira soup and their beet salad. Next, we ordered the well-known Tajine lamb dish listed on the menu as Lamb Fez, and my friend ordered the Moroccan chicken. I can tell you that i will return again for more. The food was simply delicious, leaving me fully satisfied that I wish I had room in my belly to try their desserts. The gracious service of the owner and his staff made our night a wonderful experience
Food is fantastic! I absolutely love this place. All the food is fresh and delicious. This is such a hidden gem. The beet salad and chicken fez are fantastic. The atmosphere is comfortable and feels very authentic. We will be back soon.
This is an all around fantastic restaurant. I went with a group of friends and we ordered many vegetable sides, spiced potatoes, and a lamb dish. Everything was excellent, the server was great and the restaurant was beautiful. Cant wait to go again!
I never talk bad about a place but this I feel I have to. The restaurant is so dark to the point you need a flashlight to see the menu. Service was okay but the food was really bad. I got the Moroccan chicken and it was the most dry chicken Ive ever had. The portion was enough to feed a baby. Im sorry to say I dont recommend
Very tasty Moroccan food. Cash only.
Chicken Bastilla and spicy potatoes are a must! And couscous or tagine, both are yummy.
Atmosphere is dim, but mysterious. Best place to take a date. The food is on another level. It is my preference that the chef express their self boldly and have the flavors of Mideastern cuisine step 4wards in the dish instead of hints & favors. Bring out colors as well.
Such a nice gem of a place! We tried the chicken bastilla (delicious and unlike anything I’ve had before) as well as tagines, beet salad, and the soup. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. Very friendly staff as well!
Loved it!!! Every dish was so delicious. Everything is slow cooked and amazing. Great from date night or a group. Try everything!!!
My friend from Morocco says this is the most authentic Moroccan food in Chicago! On top of the great food, the decoration and atmosphere are next level. You will feel transported the moment you walk in the door! I will say the service was a bit slow at times, but other than that everything was great! Highly recommend the mint tea.
