I kept seeing TicTok videos of Silky Gem and decided to give them a try. I ordered the cluster box. For the cost I was expecting the flavors to pull through and super excited to try them.
I really wanted to like them but on first bite it ended up tasting very very faint of flavor and the texture was like If bad Turkish delights were freeze dried with a hint of polluted water. I couldnt finish the bite
I definitely dont see the hype after trying these, I ended up giving them to my kids who basically squished them to crumbs on the floor.
The packaging was cute tho lol

I havent had the chance to visit the store in person, but I ordered online after receiving one in an order from another small business. Just made my second order today 🙂 I think these are delicious and so different from anything Ive ever eaten. Hits my sweet tooth without having to eat something thats way more unhealthy. I absolutely recommend silky gem!!!

This place was amazing! I’ve been wanting to buy from them for a while now, and just found out their building is 30 minutes from me, I was not dissapointed! The store is very adorable and the lady there was very sweet. The candies themselves have a very great texture and are very sweet and flavorful! Each flavor is unique; they look and taste immaculate. I would 100% recommend them, and I will definitley be going back!

Many people gave bad review because of taste, the taste is very subtle which too me helps with artificial flavors and tastes like many other candy’s. The only thing I would say is bad about it is the cost but besides that I would order again

Delicious candy – not too sweet or filled with chemicals. Perfect for someone with a sugar intolerance or if American candy makes you sick. My favorite are the ones filled with jam.

These are absolutely delicious and are reminiscent of the Asian candies I’ve had growing up, but way better. In regards to the negative comments, it’s cultural differences. White people are not used to these types of candies – they’re used to the big brands that are GMO’s, highly manufactured, and heavily sweetened. They complain when a business uses natural ingredients and just find a way to complain about anything. They inaccurately describe the product because it doesn’t taste like jolly ranchers and gummy bears. Silky gems are very flavorful. My favorite is lychee. It’s a huge hit at family events.

The flavor and texture of these candies were just bad. They didnt taste like the flavors, the texture was terrible, almost falling apart gritty, and it they had a very bad chemical after taste. Theyre beautiful, but the taste and mostly texture is awful. I brought them to work, hoping someone would like them, but no one did and we ended up tossing them 🙁
