I like this place. Punjabi style. Food were milder, not too spicy, so good. Lots of Punjabi butter. Good food. The down side is onion with food we need to pay for $0.99. yellow cut onion, with green chilies.

In my journey to try as many Indian places in the DFW area, I came across Urban Tadka. I’ve never had Punjabi style so this was my first to try it.
From one of the videos it appeared they had a buffet – my preference since I can try a little of everything. At lunch they do not.
Still the food came out piping hot and fresh. I got garlic naan and chani masala. It was very good. Thankfully they gave me a plate to let the masala cool a bit. I liked that they gave me a bottle of water to go with my cup of water. The masala came out “medium” on the heat scale, which was good enough for me.
The naan was hot and seemed fresh but it was a little tough to tear and chew. Maybe I’m used to more southern Indian style food.
The service was very attentive and patient.

This place has very authentic Punjabi flavors. Loved every dish that was ordered. Don’t miss the patiala lassi. Exquisite.

Good food that is all required in the end. Urban Tadka delivered a great meal with good taste. Just like any other Indian restaurant menu is vast but taste is also amazing.

Hara bhara veg kabab- was more like aloo patty tasteless
Veg kofta tasteless and samosa double fried.
Overall taste poor
